Albany Area Habitat for Humanity is an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International and an Oregon 501c3 charitable nonprofit. We’ve been serving our local communities since 1993. To date, we have built 43 homes for families throughout our service area and countless repairs on existing homes, such as ramps for those experiencing mobility challenges.
We’re dedicated to building low-cost homes by forming partnerships with families in need of decent and affordable housing. We believe homeownership is a vital step to helping families break the cycle of poverty and contributes to pride in families and communities. Habitat for Humanity has a tried and tested partnership approach that makes families in need of shelter a key part of their own housing solution.
