In an effort to bring strength, stability and self-reliance to our community, Albany Area Habitat for Humanity has adopted an Owner-Occupied Home Repair Program, which will enable us to serve more families and allow us to be more relevant in neighborhoods that may have needs other than new housing.

Home Repair, Safety & Weatherization Help
Struggling with critical home repairs, safety issues, or rising energy bills? Our Home Preservation & Repair Program helps income-qualified homeowners with critical repairs that improve safety, accessibility, comfort, and energy efficiency.
Repairs may include insulation, heating system upgrades, minor roof repairs, door and window replacements, ramps, grab bars, and other health and safety improvements. Work is completed by licensed contractors, with volunteer support when appropriate.
You must own and live in your home and meet income guidelines.
