We Appreciate Your Donations
Thank you for thinking of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore for your donation. We raise funds to build local Habitat for Humanity homes through the sale of donated materials. Our guidelines for accepting a donation are based on the items' condition and salability. The Albany ReStore accepts items that we are able to resale in our area.
All donations are subject to staff approval. All items will be inspected before being accepted. Will dispose of small non-acceptable items for a fee. Ask the receiving supervisor.
- All Appliances
- Cabinets & Countertops - Solid wood fronts with all doors and drawers.
- Doors - Except shower doors.
- Hardware - All types & fasteners.
- Flooring - Carpet: Clean-nearly new, no stains or worn areas. Linoleum: Unused, 3'x3' or larger. Wood & Laminate
- Furniture
- HVAC - Furnaces, Air-conditioners, duct, bathroom fans and vents.
- Lawn & Garden - Tools, fencing, bricks and pavers, plants & pots.
- Lighting & Electrical - Light fixtures, all electrical supplies. No fluorescent fixtures or tubes.
- Lumber & Siding - Please remove nails, only 3/4 and larger sheets of particle board.
- Paint - Household paint. No Automotive or Industrial paint or adhesives.
- Sinks & Fixtures - All metal and cast. Plastic if no chips, cracks or scratches. Molded sink with cabinet only.
- Roofing - Asphalt, wood, metal, tar paper, Plastic 3 ft. or larger sheets.
- Tile - No broken or used tile.
- Toilets - 1.6 gpf or less, clean and in working order. No bottoms without a tank.
- Tools & Equipment - All tools.
- Windows - Vinyl - working order, undamaged, seals in tact. No aluminum & wood on individual bases.
